So far, Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been a doozy, with the franchise expanding into both television and film ventures. Thor 4, which will once again be directed by Oscar winner Taika Waititi, is one of the most eagerly anticipated future Marvel films. Chris Hemworth, who plays Thor in the film Love And Thunder, just released a photo of the two Thors (along with Natalie Portman’s toned arms).
Thor: Love and Thunder will be the first Marvel superhero to receive a fourth solo film, but Chris Hemsworth will not be alone in his impending cosmic adventure. The Guardians of the Galaxy will accompany him, and Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, will return to the MCU in this film. Hemsworth posted a snapshot of himself and Portman on Instagram, showing how her hard work paid off in the end. Take a look for yourself below.

Throughout Phase Three, Natalie Portman was significantly absent, even in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok. Jane Foster had a cameo appearance in Endgame’s Time Heist owing to archive footage, but Love and Thunder marks her official comeback to the role. And this time, as Mighty Thor, she’ll be able to participate in all of the comic book action.
As previously stated, the first teaser for Thor: Love and Thunder was released recently, breaking the internet and delighting fans. While Taika Waititi quipped that the audience would still be unsatisfied, this level of expectation will undoubtedly be gratified once the film is out. It’s unclear how Taika Waititi will handle Mighty Thor’s story, but Natalie Portman appears to have confirmed that the film will adapt Jane’s cancer story from the comics. This raises the stakes of every action sequence on the page. Because her chemotherapy treatments are rendered ineffective each time she transforms into her superhero counterpart. We’ll have to wait and see how Chris Hemsworth’s upcoming sequel handles this.
